Fantastic for this time of year and as I've said, it smells divine, so makes for a wonderful sensory activity. You could also make it with cinnamon.

Spooky Spider Playdough

I love the colour of this playdough, depth of colour does depend on how juicy the blueberries are. Use more or less to achieve the colour that you want. Glitter is optional, but it does add that little bit more excitement. Roll, knead, stretch, shape; perfect for lots of play!

Blackberry Playdough
Lots of blackberries in the hedgerows right now and these are perfect for colouring and creating a textured, sensory playdough. We collected the berries and made this dough together;the highlights for my little ones being the mashing of the berries and seeing the dough change colour. Great for fine motor development; picking, mashing, mixing, kneading and that was all before we got to play with it. It also created lots of opportunities to talk and for understanding of the world.
Edible Strawberry & Marshmallow Playdough
Not only tastes delicious but it smells divine. Personally I wouldn't use this in the classroom unless every child had there own individual ball, but for home use it's perfect. A wonderful sensory experience this dough smells, feels and tastes amazing.

Continuing with World Bee Day ideas - 20.5.2023 - play dough is always a winner. This sensory dough feels wonderful and has a lovely sweet smell. Great for strengthening those little hands, as well as discussing bees and their role within the natural world. Give it a go! 🐝🐝🐝

Chocolate Playdough
This wonderful sensory play dough is perfect for this time of year. It smells absolutely divine, is perfect for strengthening little hands and wonderful for imaginative play. Wrap it up after play and this will last for about 5 days. This playdough is not edible.
Frozen Playdough
Here's a great idea which is perfect for practising those scissor skills. The firmness of the playdough means it holds together and is strong enough for holding and snipping. Mark out lines or shapes to cut out before you put it in the freezer and then when your ready to go encourage lots of talk about about the lines and shapes; wavy, zigzag, straight, curved lines as well as shape names. Enjoy!

Messy Mud Playdough
Might be a rainy day, but let's all pretend it's summer. Messy mud playdough is perfect for practising planting, modelling, shaping, rolling and squeezing. A few flowers and some plastic pots and you're sorted.
Zesty Orange & Lemon Playdough
This is a wonderful rich, sensory playdough which is great for tactile play, brilliant fun and creates an opportunity for talking. Additionally, push, poke, pull, stretch, cut and roll its just perfect for strengthening little hands and improving dexterity ready for writing and drawing etc.
Playdough Spirals
WOW.... what an activity! Far exceeded my expectations as the children just 'ran' with it. Teamwork, resilience, determination, problem solving, imaginative play, role play and total engagement. An activity for all ages to try and to enjoy. If you don't have playdough, simply mix flour and water into a dough consistency and use the same as playdough.
